Can’t recommend CB French enough
Before moving to France, I bought various books and downloaded all sorts of apps, guides, podcasts etc to aid my learning French, but nothing beats this method of learning for me. Prepared me well before moving, and continues to help me improve my French.

A quality language learning product
Both Coffee Break Languages and Teach Yourself are quality educational material companies. They’ve teamed together to put out a fine product in different languages. There are 5, 10, and 15 minute exercises (according the length of the coffee break you are taking – though you don’t have to save it for a coffee break) that are based on the proven language learning idea doing a little bit frequently pays better dividends than doing a large amount of work sporadically. It’s cumulative. I’ve had the book for less than a month, so I haven’t done all the exercises in “50 French Coffee Breaks.” But I’ve done enough of them to know that it’s consistent with the general high quality of Coffee Break Language courses.

Just what I needed.
My French is decent but I’m out of practice and afraid of losing it. This book provides short activities to keep my French fresh and improve it. And I enjoy not having to do it on a screen. There’s something so lovely about writing French in a book. And I actually do do it on my tea break most days!
