    ABC flash cards
As my 3yr old grandson is non speaking autistic this is a good way of getting him to learn. He had started doing it at home so bought these for when he stays at mine. His 2yr old brother is learning too..A very good way to teach them letters and they also have number cards too.

    perfect for toddlers
These are the perfect flash cards to help toddlers learn the alphabet and numbers. They aren’t too busy or distracting looking. i like that they have just the letter and no picture or anything else on the front. I found this to be extremely useful for my daughter.

    Perfect choice. Very impressed.
Very pleased with these cards when they arrived, and they have lived up to their expectations. Had several different brands of alphabet packs bookmarked to buy, and chose these because of the simple appearance, number of cards in the pack, price and good reviews.Would definately recommend to friends who have young children- they are a good size (in my opinion) being 13 and a half cm by 8 and a half cm. The colours are vibrant and attractive, easily drawing attention, and most importantly the letters are clear and large. Each card is double sided, and there are three sets of cards. One features an upper case letter on one side and a picture on the other(A and an apple), one a lower case letter with the same picture example, and finally the picture presented on one side with the spelling of that word in lower case on the other side. Great for continuity and matching games etc.I personally bought these cards for my 1 year old as an introduction to simple lettering and examples of basic words, and I do think they are sturdy enough and could withstand a lot of play. The packet states ages 4 and up, and if giving to that age group there whould be little issue of bending, tearing or chewing!I loved the fact that at the end of the pack there are also 6 colour cards with a block of colour on one side, and on the other the spelling of that colour, which I found an attractive addition. The colours are red, yellow, green, orange, purple and blue.If only they had added in a pink one for good measure and it would have been an excellent accompanyment when teaching colours and singing the ‘rainbow’ song!I can’t, however, mark the product down for this as they are plainly alphabet cards and do the job well. I would also buy other cards from the ‘flashkids’ range in future, as they too look brilliant, but it would help if there was a little better product description for each packet, and this is partly why I have written so much!

    Favorite flash cards!
These are my favorite flash cards for kids! As a teacher, I like that they are simple and bold, without photos on the side with the letter. I also like they the upper case and lower case letters are on separate cards.

Mostly good – some bad word choices
Teacher here!PROS:- fast delivery- good size (easy to hold for adults and kids)- easy to laminate for extra durability.CON:- For the struggling learners I work with, I have to redo several cards. The word choices were clearly not all made with education in mind. Specifically:- the letter /g/ has the word “giraffe” on the back which does not use the standard /g/ sound.- the letter /t/ uses the word “train” on the back. The common problem with this is that kids often hear “ch” and not “tr” when saying this word. Kids who know it is “tr” often already have a decent grasp of blends, and are probably past needing these cards.A little annoyed I have to redo some of these cards. Other than that, they’re wonderful! If they had better word choices would be 5/5.

A lot of different flash cards
There’s many kind of alphabet (uppercase,…) animal pictures with alphabet,…

Seperate cards for upper / lower case letters
Exactly what I wanted. I wanted to have upper case and lower case on seperate cards. It comes with a word card as well with every letter of the alphabet. Behind the word card is the corresponding pictire. It also comes with some coloured cards which is perfect. Plenty of colour on the cards. The card quality is fine, however I will be laminating these as my little one is 2.Very happy with these. Definitely recommend.

not the worst cards out there but room for improvement
There’s a lot to like about these cards they have three sets of alphabets – lowercase, uppercase and word cards- all with the same picture, great for a variety of matching games for younger kids. There are also color word cards. There’s a large variety of object, animal and food words but some of the included words could be better. Ice cream and jelly bean, in particular since we try to limit exposure to candy/sugar. I also would have preferred a hard ‘g’ sound instead of giraffe. Was gate or goat to difficult to come up with? Seems that word choice is a common complaint on flashcard sets. The illustrations are rather cartoony as well and the style isn’t uniform.Over all I’m satisfied. I show the uppercase letter cards to my daughter (9 months) make the sound ( again, why giraffe?!) And say the word. She likes the bright color backgrounds for the letters and we can get to about w before she loses interest.

Good quality but choice of words could be better
Good quality cards which my 3 yo daughter enjoys. The only criticism I have is the choice of words for some of the letters. For example, g for giraffe is not the way children first learn the g sound in phonics, w for whale , y for yarn and x as in x-ray rather than the phonic sound x at the end of box.
