   Received this book just in time to practice songs leading up to Christmas.The book is perfectly suited to absolute beginners. It had the letters as well as the finger positions above and below the music staffs. But if that is an issue, you can hide it with post it notes. The songs are nicely arranged & suited to beginners, with C, F & G major scales, so nothing too complicated.The song collection are classic Christmas songs, with some international songs that I was not familiar with but sounded beautiful just the same.The book comes with downloadable audio, so you can hear what the song is meant to sound like, which is very helpful.I have 2 other books of theirs in my collection (Primo Piano & Timeless Piano Classics) & they have been a boon to my piano learning experience. Highly recommend!!!

   It’s easy to follow but the songs are all cut short. If you actually want to play the songs you need to buy another book. It was a big big disappointment.

   Ihr Kind oder Sie lernen Piano und soll beidhändig sowie mit allen Fingern spielen? Dann könnte dieses Songbook besonders in der Weihnachtszeit eine Bereicherung sein. Entdecken sie Hände und Ohren beim Spielen dieser Songs!Das Buch ist im fast A4-Format und handlichen Softcover herausgegeben und beinhaltet 45 einfache englische und ein paar internationale Weihnachtslieder und die Noten dazu. Das Buch ist für Anfänger/ Beginners gedacht, jedoch sind Notenkenntnisse und Grundlagen sowie zum Mitsingen Englischkenntnisse unabdingbar, da es sich um ein reines Songbook handelt. Das Songbook ist in englischer Sprache und es sind einzelne internationale Lieder auf Italienisch, Französisch, Deutsch und Norwegisch dabei. Das Cover ist wundervoll gestaltet und ich hätte mir auch im Songbook ein paar visuelle Auflockerungen gewünscht.Alle Lieder kann man im Internet mit einem Downloadlink herunterladen und sie in einfachem Spiel zum Lernen üben dann anhören.Die Liedauswahl ist zu Weihnachten klassisch und modern und beinhaltet neben „A Holy Night“ und „Silent Night“ bekannte Kinderlieder wie „Jolly Old Saint Nicolas“, „Ding! Dong! Merrily on High!“, „I heard the Bells on Christmas Day“ oder „The twelve days of Christmas“ sowie vielen anderen. Die deutschen Lieder „Lasst uns froh und munter sein“ und „O du fröhliche“ ergänzen das Ganze. Wundervolle Melodien, die Spaß machen und das Pianospielen auch beim Lernen in wundervolle Klangwelten bringen. Die Lieder sind teils in verkürzten Versionen abgebildet.Akkorde und Rhythmen wurden vereinfacht und die Lieder haben maximal eine bis drei Seiten Länge. Anfangs sind es eher einfache Lieder zum Nachspielen und zum Ende hin steigt der Schwierigkeitsgrad. Die meisten Songs haben die Notenbuchstaben und teilweise die Fingerzahlen angezeigt.Ein schönes Songbook zum Noten- und Pianospielen lernen. Ich hätte mir besonders für Kinder mehr visuelle Motivationsanker bzw. eine buntere und visuell ansprechendere Gestaltung gewünscht. Es ist im Gegensatz zum Cover sehr schlicht gestaltet und konzentriert sich tatsächlich ausschließlich auf die Notensätze ohne Anmerkungen und Anregungen.4-mal Weihnachtstusch für dieses klangvolle Songbook. Viel Spaß beim Üben!Lasst uns froh und munter sein!

   Awesome tracks with proper notes
   I loved the way book is printed. Fine print and accurate notes and it is easier to follow the notes as well. I liked this book and the tracks selections.
