We love this storybook! What we LIKE about it:1. Beautifully illustrated — each story is well illustrated and easy to follow, especially if kids want to read on their own.2. Full Length stories — We got “365 stories and rhymes” first, which is a very similar book, and they were easy to read for very small kids (18 months and 3 year old). Now that the kids are a bit older they can easily follow longer stories from this “5 minute stories” book. A lot of the stories overlap, but they are described with a lot of detail and colour, and add a lot of vocabulary for kids to pick up.3. A collection of stories — these storybooks with tons of stories in them are amazing. If I bought each fairy tale as a stand alone book ($3-$10 depending on the book), I’d be paying a fortune. Also, we always have a new story to read every night and never run out of options. The only DISLIKE:Some of these fairy tales like “Hansel and Gretel” or “The Wild Swans”, for example, are not great. They are not modern or kind, and I wish kids’ stories these days were more in line with the time.If you found my review useful, please click the “Helpful” button below. Makes reviewing worthwhile. Excellent collection of stories. Great size too.

Really good
Lots of stories you might know, and lots you might not, but all shaved down to fit into a quick bedtime story routine. Really good if you’re reading for comfort rather than to have the little one gripped by the storyline, we have been through the book several times now and don’t plan to stop yet!
