    Always have fun reading this book. It encourages singing and interaction with classic songs like “this little piggy” and “round and round the garden” nursery rhymes. Our 2 year old loves this book but it’s great for younger ones too because it involves the singing and interaction with mum/dad or whomever is reading.

    Great book. I bought it because it’s the same writer of Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes which has been a all time favorite. It completely exceeded my expectations. My little one loves pointing at the figures in the book and getting me to sign nursery rhymes for her.

    The story is a follow up from another Mem Fox book. Her write is exquisite. My grandchild loves listening to it being read to him as he snuggles down to sleep;.

    My two year old is obsessed
    What an underrated book! This is one of my daughters favorite bedtime books. We stumbled upon it at the library and I ended up purchasing on Amazon since there was no chance of this not being part of our bedtime reading routine.

    Labeled as Used – excellent and pages were coming out and there were ripped pages also. The book was dirty and not appealing at all – for such a high price. Not OK normally, but especially with a children’s book.

    Lovely children’s book
    My 3 year old’s favorite book. It is very cute with lots of rhyming. It also includes a nursery rhyme called Round and Round the Garden that my Scottish mother used to sing to me but that my husband told me wasn’t real because he had never heard of it. So this book helped me win an argument in my marriage and for that reason alone it gets 5 stars.

    Mem Fox does it again!
    Good Night, Sleep Tight is a delightful book for very young children giving them a great introduction to nursery rhymes. The rhyme and repetition also help give young children a wonderful start on their way to becoming readers. (The rhyme and repetition make it easier for children to “read” a book when they are very young~an essential pre-reading skill.) The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is because of the illustrations. While cute and whimsical they aren’t my favorites. Others may like them better than me.I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun book for small children.

    “We love it, we love it, said Bonnie and Ben…” (“how does it go? will you say it again!?”)
    We got this book from our local library and my 1.5 year old loved it so much, and recognized so many of the nursery rhymes and things in it that we had to buy our own copy. My 3.5 year old loves to repeat some of the rhymes from this too… it’s a cute and fun book to interact with the kids before bed (without getting them too wild / riled up!)

    This book is a must for every preschooler’s library.
    This is one of the best children’s books written! It incorporates several familiar rhymes in the context of a babysitter, Skinny Doug, putting his charges to bed. We love it!
