A note from the makers:
I’m Theodora and my daughter is M. We love to sing and be silly. From only a few months old, I found the most enticing way to teach my little one was through singing and song. M is very opinionated, independent, and creative, which I love about her. Even at two years of age, she liked to take part in family discussions and make decisions. I wanted to encourage these traits, so we created this book with choices. We really enjoyed the process and even though it was quite a journey, we are finally done and we hope you enjoy it too!
What is the length of each song?
Open the Mosquito Net: 20 seconds
Two Tigers: 20 seconds
Birdie Fell Into Water: 15 seconds
London Bridge is Falling Down: 15 seconds
I am a Big Apple: 28 seconds
Bright Bright Moon: 2 minutes and 9 seconds
Moon Represents My Heart: 1 minute and 53 seconds

Timeless kids favorites introducing Chinese string instruments
I bought this book for my grandkid mainly because it contains timeless old songs I learned as a child. By hearing the songs and seeing the illustrations, I am hoping she gets to understand her grandparents’ childhood and her own heritage. When I received the book, I am delighted it is made of good quality, easy to use, and colorful. My 4-year old grandkid can clearly hear the musical instruments being different from the usual ones she is used to listening, and expresses keen interest in them. It is a good opportunity to introduce to her Chinese string instruments that better harmonize with the origins of the songs. The first 3 sets of songs are easy to learn, the last set is more advanced, but I am sure she can master in no time.

brought back a lot of pleasant things that happened a long time ago.
I bought two, one for my grandkids (8 and 5) who live in another state. I am sure it will bring down memory lane for my son when he plays the songs with the kids. The other one I am going to share with my friends here who have similar ages of grandchildren. This is an excellent interactive book for kids. It certainly brings back a lot of memories that happened a long time ago for me and sure will be for my friends, especially it’s in both mandarin and cantonese. In addition, the songs were sung in such a pretty soft voice, full of love.

I bought this book for my boyfriend’s niece as a birthday present and she really enjoyed the book! It has nice, great quality pages with a clear, loud sound. She even really loved the cute pandas in the book! I would definitely recommend purchasing the book for children especially when they are starting to learn Chinese

A Must Have for Any Home Library
This children’s book contains the timeless songs that not only children but adults love to sing. The beautiful drawings; durable and high quality material as well as the recording with traditional Chinese instruments are thoughtfully integrated. One of my favorite part is that while signing along, we also learn to recognize traditional Chinese characters in a meaningful way. All songs also have translations in English for those who don’t read Chinese. This is definitely a must have for any home with children of all ages!

Educational book
I am so happy that there’s finally a Cantonese children’s book! It’s so nice to be able to teach my kids the same Chinese lullabies my mom use to sing to me. The book is user friendly and my 2 and 5 year olds love it. My 5 year old refuses to speak Cantonese and he enjoys listening to the lullabies so that says a lot! The best part is that my mom gets to read and sing to them too.
