Good pictures
I thought the pictures in this book were good and it is nice to have a realistic picture of an animal in a kids book. Not much else to it

Great book for babies
The pictures in this book are beautiful!! Bright, vivid photos that I know as our baby grows he will continue to love looking at them. I will say some of the sounds they wrote were a bit weird, like the elephant says “snort snort”, but other than that, great book, especially for us as a Montessori home.

Baby loves staring at the animal faces
I was hesitant about this purchase simply because it’s not that pretty & it’s not illustrated. BUT there is a picture of a wolf on the front & my daughter loves all things canine, winner! She is 15 months and loves imitating the animal sounds & stares at the animal photos investigating all their faces, we get too the end & she’s ready to start again!

Designed for toddlers
I loved the quality of the photos (Natgeo signature), and so did my son. He already has his favorite animals and points them out by their names and mimics the sounds they make. An entertaining way to play and at the same time learn with the little ones. Recommended.

One of my daughters favorites
National geographic is just awesome all around! Great illustrations always. this has become one of my two year olds favorite books. She loves pointing at each different animal as we make the animals sound.

Great pics; no recorded animal sounds
Typical for NatGeo, the pictures are wonderful. From the description, I was under the impression that it included realistic sounds that each animal makes but I was mistaken. The “sounds” are just the usual spellings that simulate each animal’s signature noise. Nice book, visually.
