Very Best!
My 8 year old son loves these. My parents let us read comics because reading is reading. My 5 year old daughter is reading as well. Good illustrations and they have to be asked to put them away for dinner!

Fun but a bit advanced for a starting reader
I bought this set of books for a beginning reader. I read them first and enjoyed them but thought the vocabulary might be a bit advanced for a second grader – and I was right. This child will grow in to these books I am sure but they are more appropriate for an 8 or 9 year old.

Great Graphic Novels
We love Magic Treehouse stories, so these are great companions to the audible versions. My kids prefer graphic novels so we have the chapter books, and now we have these.

Perfect for 3rd grade
When I was a kid, these were my favorite books ever. It is what got me into reading. Now, fast forward 19 years later, I teach 3rd grade myself and I happened to see that they created graphic novel versions of my favorite book series. Omg! It is perfect. Kids love them so much and it makes me happy to connect with them over these books. The main character is 8 years old which is the age of most of my 3rd graders. A lot of my kids say they love that because they can relate to it.
