Well written book, suitable for the suggested age range
My son has just completed his first year of reception but is young in the year so has only just turned five. We wanted him to have worksheets to complete every day over the summer that would keep him thinking about maths and writing and this book was ideal – it’s at a level that he could cope with (but didn’t find too easy), so he wasn’t getting fed up that it was too hard for him – he actually enjoyed the games and activities, once he took a break from complaining about them. He hates writing so much that given the choice he always went for the maths books and he has now completed the whole thing – something he is very proud of.The book covers a good range of maths skills, including number work, money, shapes and spatial relationships.

Great for helping!
I have brought loads of these books especially through the summer holiday, My daughter loves learning!This is fun for her to do with colour pictures and she can sit and do it on her own if she wants to if I’m cooking or cleaning, I told her how to do a few of them and she just caught on and can do them on her own. These keep her busy for hours she can go through the book quiet quickly but with the price of them its not an issue 🙂 and as they go up in the different ages its great! It has helped her with her writing as that was the one thing she was struggling on, she was fine with spelling, numbers, shapes etc but writing the words or letters she struggled.We love doing these together and she then re-uses the books to play schools 🙂

Our 3 year old grandson has loved completing this book
I bought this for our 3 year old grandson (he will be 4 at the end of June) as he loves doing numbers and he has asked to do this book every single time he visited. He has absolutely lapped it up – it was so good to use for him and he was so happy using it. He will definitely be ready for school in September.

Good for learning numbers
Bought for 3 year old and she loved doing but she does really enjoy numbers . She found relatively simple but my eldest at the same age would not have found so easy so depends on the child’s ability.

Perfect for our 4 year old
Bought for my son along with the entire Collins range. He’s 4 and eager to catch up the missed 6 months from school so we’re using these books.He loves them, spending around an hour each day after school completing the very tasks and games.
