About the Author
One day, five lives, but whose hearts will be broken by nightfall?
It started like any other day in the picturesque village of Weirbridge.
Tress Walker waved her perfect husband Max off to work, with no idea that she was about to go into labour with their first child. And completely unaware that when she tried to track Max down, he wouldn’t be where he was supposed to be.
At the same time, Max’s best friend Noah Clark said goodbye to his wife, Anya, blissfully oblivious that he would soon discover the woman he adored had been lying to him for years.
And living alongside the two couples, their recently widowed friend, Nancy Jenkins, is getting ready to meet Eddie, her first true love at a school reunion. Will Nancy have the chance to rekindle an old flame, or will she choose to stay by Tress’s side when she needs her most?
One Day with You – two fateful goodbyes, two unexpected hellos, and 24 hours that change everything.
Catherine Leigh –
I found the storyline interesting, I was captivated and needed to see how everything would play out.I was in tears numerous times, also laughing at Nancy and Val’s antics. This book was a roller coaster of emotions, definitely not the usual romcom book I would usually read.Overall a good read
BirnieBrae –
A wonderful and clever story which at times is a brutally honest observation on life.As always the humour keeps me going, at times I find myself laughing so hard it’s painful.A great book
Carol Kanthan –
I loved the story. It had quite a twist. All got their deserts. I don’t think the older ladies should have been in the story.

I read the blurb and thought maybe I knew where the story was going but it was the journey there that absolutely slayed me.As the book is broken down into time slots of the one day, I was wondering how you could develop the different characters and keep the narrative moving along with any depth.By the first 20% I think my heart raced so many times I may have been in danger of a cardiac event!I needed to know how this was going to play out and I wasn’t disappointed, I cried, I laughed, I was heartbroken and by the end I was hopeful.Noah, Tress and Nancy were such amazing characters and how they all interacted and were intertwined were so well written I felt like I knew them all.Overall I’m still not sure how to feel, there were so many emotions attached to this story that I can’t pick one to focus on so I’ll go with sad but happy. So very well written and that it evoked this kind of feeling in me is why it prompted me to leave this review.
