  5. Amazon Customer

    Entertaining, informative story!
This book is outstanding – it’s informative about St. Patrick’s Day traditions and the holiday’s origins in Ireland, which is exactly what I was hoping for! It’s a bit lengthy for my 2-year-old, but definitely a book we’ll keep and read for years to come.

  6. Jennifer M.

Sweet book with a nice lesson about St Patrick’s Day
Adorable story about St. Patrick’s Day. Good illustrations.

  7. ShanM

Great explanation of St. Pats Day!
I am a huge Berenstain Bears fan. The newer books lately have left me underwhelmed, however this one I truly loved! I could see more effort in the artwork, and content of the story. Great way to introduce your kids, Irish or not, to St Patty’s Day!

  8. Marge Scranton

  9. Christina Jackson

We LOVE all Bernstein Bear’s books!
This is a great St. Patrick’s Day book! I have loved every Bernstein Bears book that we’ve ever read! We sent this book to school with my daughter, so her teacher could read to the whole Kindergarten class. Highly recommend all Bernstein Bears books!

  10. TripWire

Cute. Not great for young literal thinkers.
This is a cute book. I like that it explained how St. Patrick’s Day falls in a time of in between weather and in between holidays.I think what our family found bothersome is how the book jumps between the legends that go with St. Patrick and then the cubs falling asleep and having dreams about what they had just been taught, to then wake up and have pieces of their dream seem to exist in their real world. It’s a lot of flip flopping around for a young kid. If the child you’re buying this for is young, or you happen to have a super literal minded kiddo, you may consider something different.
