Our son is more cognitive & more active!!
My husband (who has very poor knowledge of nutrition) skimmed through this & then started making purees for our special needs son. He started doing more things and being more active within 2 weeks and is now doing something new every other day! My husband did complain that the intro and “why” parts need a cliff notes version so you can go straight to the recipes. Basically it’s a bunch of whole foods, as unprocessed as possible. Fresh fruits/veggies, along with fats (balance between plant & animal fats), especially omega 3’s, & balanced protein (again balanced between plants & animals). We make big batches & freeze them in individual containers.

This Book Changed our Lives
This book has really helped us change and understand our son’s digestive system and how much of an impact his eating habits can affect his entire body. I recommend reading Dr. Robert’s other 2 books prior to reading this one (Disconnected Kids & Reconnected Kids) will help you have more of a background as to why these diet changes are so important for your special needs children. This book has many great healthy recipes that you and your little one will enjoy.
