Okay for older students, but needs work.
I purchased this book based off of the available images of the food tree infographic and characters thinking it would be targeted at early elementary aged kids but the curriculum is more appropriate for middle school or older students. I have had to significantly alter wording and activities for my children (2nd and 4th grade). My 4th grader told me she thought the food tree and the characters were “babyish”. To me this is a huge flaw! The authors message and purpose are so important but she missed her target audience entirely. Please write and release curriculum that is more appropriate for younger kids, and replace the “babyish” characters In this book with more mature infographics to use with older children.
