About the Author
Anna Raff has written, illustrated, and designed many books for children. She is a faculty member at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she received her MFA.

The BEST Children’s Book For Explaining How Light Works
I’ve been searching for a good children’s book for explaining how light works and took a chance on this one and have to say this is an absolutely Excellent book!It explains light in easy to understand ways with smart and visually pleasing illustrations.Complicated ideas are broken down and illustrated in brilliantly simple ways.This covers a lot of information about light in a way that kids (and adults!) can understand and remember.I think teens would like it too because of the very clear way it explains these concepts.Am so glad I took a chance on this!I Highly recommend this book for teaching kids of all ages about light.

Great for children and adults!
Wow. This explains this so well for children and for adults. I love that it had a few experiments to do to show the explanations along side the pictures.I bought this because we are learning about Light in our curriculum.Highly recommend this book.I am teaching Kindergarten to our son who is 5. This may be a little advanced for him however he still got a lot of it and had fun with the experiments.Grab this!
