I’ve been hearing for so long that this book is really good and I’m so glad I finally read it, its a favourite for sure. Its really rare I read a book and am entertained 100% of the way through. I never got bored, It pulled me in immediately and I loved all of the characters. Loved the relationship between all of them and I never got sick of reading from different POVs. Despite romance being a sub plot of the book, the tension and slow burn between the love interests was still exciting and made me giddy. The plot of the book is really well done, one of those that keeps you locked and wanting more. I’m excited to read the next book!

What a absolutely gorgeous collectors edition. The foiling on the cover and the character art are just *mwah* 😘🤌🏼 chef’s kiss!!!! I’m a sucker for sprayed edges, as well.Now. The important stuff: the story. One word… addicted. The world that LB has created for the Grishaverse is immersive, creative, one-of-a-kind!!! Don’t even get me started on the characters, ugh. It’s hard to pick a favourite. They all have personality flaws but dang are they likeable. They way Six of Crows was written allows you to really picture what happens. Just from reading you can visualise exactly how a location or character appears.This for me was more enjoyable that the Shadow and Bone Trilogy. By the time I finished I felt like I had emotional whiplash from the amount of twists and turns. I was kept on my toes. Awesome book.

I read this as a follow on from the Shadow and Bones trilogy, and although I didn’t think it was possible, this was even better!Fantastic storyline and great character development.

I went in to this with such high expectations and everyone loves this duology so much. Unfortunately though I had a very love/hate relationship with this book.Let’s start with the positives shall we. The idea itself was really good and I loved Kaz and Inej. In fact it was their chapters and stories that kept me going and kept me wanting to read, especially Kaz with his attitude and antics. I loved Kaz so much.Now for the negatives. For the most part I just didn’t care what happened and I wasn’t feeling all the usual emotions I feel while reading. I’m not sure if I just don’t click with Bardugos writing but I have struggled with all her books.I’m glad that I saw this one through to the end and it did have some brilliant moments. Unfortunately for me though it just didn’t live up to the hype. I know so many people absolutely love these books though and I still can’t wait for the show. I’ll definitely still be bingeing the show like crazy.

OMG. Liked this wayy more than I thought I would! Lots of action to keep you on your toes, just enough friendship and romance to keep you emotional, and heaps of plot twists you can never see coming. Excited to read the rest of the series
